IMTU Medical Journal is a peer reviewed scientific journal which was inaugurated in April 2010. Editors form a multinational editorial board panel representing Tanzania, India, and USA. The journal is published once annually. Volumes 1,-3 were published every April from 2010-2012. The number of publications increased in the subsequent years. Volume 4 & 5 had each 11 publications and was published in April 2013 & 2014 respectively. Volume 6 had 18 publications and was published in July 2015. Until end of 2015, the journal had so far published 64 papers. The next Volume (7) shall be published before the end of 2019.
